You want an honest review? This is by far the best automotive shop in the Rockford area. After spending $300 at another shop yesterday for small routine maintenance, I started my car today and suddenly had warning lights on my dash. I travel a lot and drive far distances with my children, so having a safe and reliable vehicle is not an option. I called Tire Tracks in Rockford because they were nearby, explained my situation, and they told me to come in the afternoon. When I arrived, the parking lot was PACKED. I immediately thought, “There’s no way I’m getting my car back today.” I was wrong! They got my vehicle in immediately in a bay, diagnosed the problems, and clearly explained what was going on. When the parts store next door took over an hour and still couldn’t find a part that showed as in stock, one of the technicians actually went over there and found it himself! Less than 30 minutes later, I was back on the road. What impressed me most was the honesty. They showed me pictures of everything they inspected and repaired, explained what I should take care of soon and what could safely wait, and never once tried to pressure me or upsell unnecessary repairs. On top of that

Service went well, they were done in a timely manner only issue was they misplaced our keys. So when we came to pick up the vehicle during our lunch time my wife was stranded for 40 minutes until they could locate them. They did discount the service for the inconvenience so it was nice they compensated us without having to ask.

I would not recommend Tire Tracks in Rockford. I brought my car in to get my window fixed, and this is the second time I’ve had to come back for the same problem. My window is still not fixed and my door handle is still not working. They kept my car for four days, and when I picked it up my speakers had been taken out and not put back in. I paid for repairs and was without my car for days, and the original issues still are not resolved. Very disappointed with the quality of work and how...
